Accomodations:
You have the option of camping at the pond (924 SW 54th St., Ankeny, IA 50023), staying at the Country Inn & Suites at a special rate of $100 for two Queen beds (if you reserve before May 26 and use the ID code for our block of rooms which is "0906Parkar"), or making other arrangements on your own to stay in the area. One thing to note is that there are many events taking place in the Des Moines area on this weekend, so if you are intending to stay in a hotel in the area, you will want to make your reservations as early as possible.
A map will be posted on the blog closer to the date of the reunion, as mapquest does not give correct directions to the pond.
Meals during the weekend are on your own with the exception of the Sunday potluck, which will be held at the pond (924 SW 54th St., Ankeny, IA 50023). Activities for Saturday are on your own, though you are welcome to stay at the pond and reconnect with relatives and get to know some you haven't chatted with before.
