This blog is also a location where you can ask questions about the reunion, provide ideas about what you might like to see or do at the reunion, and add some of the memories you have from previous reunions. Check back as often as you like to view the posts from other Packards. All are welcome to add their two cents worth.
For example:
I remember when the big treat for us kids was the Orange and Strawberry Crush in the glass pop bottles, and the ice cream "sundaes" that were the highlights of the reunion. What do you remember?
Also, please help us out by signing your posts, and "connecting the dots" for us. For example:

Seems to work just fine Jean. Thanks for setting this up. I hope many of the family will leave comments or just reminisce about the good old days of the Packard Reunions. Lisa P (Virgil's wife)
A note about cousins: When I was a kid, I really didn't think much about cousins...I was the youngest one and there weren't many around my age. I guess I could take them or leave them. I really didn't know them very well, seeing them only once a year for a few hours at Gram's birthday. When we started camping on Friday and Saturday nights before the actual Packard Reunion, our kids got to know their cousins in a way that I never experienced. Even though they hardly ever see them, they feel a closeness that I never felt. They loved the campfire and the somemores. They loved to hear the "Old folks" tell their stories. Sometimes we sang, sometimes we didn't. Anyway, they got acquainted! Today, my sis, my brother and I have only one cousin left....and Thank God, I am close to her. I treasure her much more that I ever dreamed I could. I hope we can rekindle this closeness within the family through this wonderful event. Bev (Charles's wife...Charles is Edgar's oldest son)
Hello! Is there anyone out there in cyberspace? Are you bashful? What do you think? Will you plan to attend the reunion? I sure hope so. Let us know you're there. Bev (Charles' wife, Edgar's daughter in law)
Yes, we will be there. Looks like fun. Dave & Andy
I'll try and bring Magda Packard, b 6.16.08.
